Speak For Myself

I try my best to stay away
When people talk about each other
Instead loving one another
They would rather mess up their day
How can I talk about someone?
When I have problems to deal with?
How can I help anyone?
When my mind is one a drift?
My mouth isn’t open for business
When people utter evil, making me a witness
I don’t have time for these games
Everywhere I look, they are calling each other by their names
Having a form of godliness with no power
Spilling evil like a flood upon every hour
I reside at an indecent, demonic place
Where people say immoral words and smile in my face
Why I’m here, I’m not sure
Whatever I have to go through, I know I will endure
God will rewrite this story
The devil gets no glory
Whatever He has for me, it will be for me
For all He has done, I give praises to thee
Lord helps me not to be mythical like an elf
That I judge only me and speak for myself
