Before I came I was neglected Before I knew you I was in bondage Since I came I’m now loved Since I know you I’m free Like a father You were there for me Like a friend You told me everything As a pastor and bishop You looked out for my soul As a brother You become an example for me to follow As unto a father You taught me many lessons Of hard words And encouragement You are showing me the way To a better life in the Lord As unto a friend You told me the truth And told it in love I feel I have someone To talk to To laugh with And have fun with You maybe old But you are just as Young as I am As unto a pastor and bishop You looked out for my Spiritual well being You would not let me fail or quit No matter how I’m feeling For you knew the Potential in me I just needed someone To help me To drive onto where I’m destined to be And to be with God Designed for me to become And for this I’m very grateful and blessed You are hard on me sometimes But I realize It’s only to make me strong To built me up as a man A dad A friend A Pastor A brother A Bishop All of these things You are to me A light causing me to be free A true man of God Nothing can make you Stand still or stressed That one day everyone shall call you blessed Thanks for everything!
