If I have no vision, I’m dead For what is to gain if I have no purpose in life? I would only be standing still with nowhere to go No one to talk to Or nothing to do My life will be filled with blackness and emptiness However, if I have a vision, I can live again Born from darkness and into the light Seeing myself doing everything to make my vision come true Exposing myself to those whom will feed life into what I believe And connecting to God whom will fill in the spaces that are not whole Nothing can happen unless I speak it first I have many wondrous visions to mention My businesses My health My finances and wealth My future My education My relationships The lives I will influence The lives that will influence My words shall give life to others Death cannot come from these lips Nor can my words speak death to those that believe a thing If I shall cause someone to die with my words I’m a murderer in the eyes of the Lord I cannot spend eternity with Him knowing I had killed someone For He knows all and He will judge according to what I do and say Therefore, let the words I speak birth new life and sustain them So I can become a high priest in the House of the Lord That He may remember me when I see Him for myself as He is I understand our visions cannot always be something tangible It should be a treasure I can die with And take with me when I escape the second death Yet surely I do desire those things furnish on the earth But I want something more Something to lift up my spirits And contains a powerful impact on my life as your servant Those are the visions I seek the ones I cannot see Yes, I’m bless and I’m going to be a blessing to others |
