Yogurt can be used for severe itching of the vulva due to yeast infections or to painful cold sore infections. Put 2 tablespoonfuls of unflavored yogurt on a handkerchief or sanitary napkin and apply it to the itchy or painful area and leave on for several hours. Re-apply as needed. Tea Bags excellent for smelly and sweaty feet. Take 2 tea bags and put them in a pint of boiling water for 15 minutes. Then remove the tea bags and pour the pint of strong, hot tea in a basin filled with 2 quarts of cool water. Soak your feet for 20 to 30 minutes daily for a week or ten days. No smell! No sweat! Repeat as often as needed.
Tea bags are also good for painful canker sores in the mouth. Immerse a tea bag in half a glass of tepid water until sopping wet. Remove the tea bag, squeeze out almost all the water, and then apply the tea bag directly to the canker sore and hold it there for a few minutes. You may be pleasantly surprised.
Lemons (fresh) good for removing freckles and age spots. Often works as well as the expensive fade creams. Cut a fresh lemon and squeeze the juice out of half in a small bowl. Using a cotton ball, wipe the affected spots with the lemon juice twice daily. Try this for 6 to 8 weeks. Repeat as necessary.
Onions also can be used for removing freckles and age spots. Slice a red onion in half and rub on the spot twice daily. Continue until the spot or spots fade.
Onions are also good to prevent insect bites and stings. Eat a couple of raw onions (great with hamburgers!) daily during the summer. The insects will usually avoid you!
Garlic along with the onions, eating garlic will often prevent mosquitoes from attacking you.
Egg white for those of you with facial wrinkles or large pores, the best and least expensive way of getting rid of them for about 2 hours (just before the party) is as follows:
About an hour before your party, wash your face thoroughly with a mild soap or cleanser. Then beat up two egg whites into a meringue (until they are stiff). Apply the egg whites over your face and leave on for 20 to 30 minutes. Then rinse off with cool water (not hot, else youll have scrambled eggs on your face!) and pat dry. Then put on your make-up. Youll be wrinkle free for about two hours. This is much less expensive than the 100-dollar-an-ounce anti-wrinkle creams, which also work for about 2 hours.
Meat tenderizer excellent for insect bites and stings. For a mild bee or wasp sting, or for annoying mosquito and fleabites, make a paste of one-half teaspoon of unseasoned meat tenderizer with a few drops of water and apply directly to the bite or sting. You should obtain relief in a matter of minutes. For you outdoors people: always carry a bottle of the meat tenderizer with you when you plan a trip.

Duct tape excellent for warts around and under fingernails. Apply 2 layers of the tape - one longwise and one around the finger up to the first joint to make it airtight. Leave on for a week. Remove for 12 hours and re-apply for another week. Keep doing this until the wart gets tired and disappears, leaving no mark or scar! (see page 000)
Nail polish excellent for chigger bites. Apply the polish right on the bite and the chigger will suffocate and die.
Also, if you are allergic to nickel earrings, jean snaps and you dont want to purchase new items, you can coat the metals with clear nail polish. This will prevent the allergen from getting on to your skin. Since sweating may remove some of the lacquer from the metal after a time, re-apply when necessary.
