Mrs. Gloria Apianwa

Dear friend,

I am Mrs. Gloria Apianwa, the manager, bill and exchange at the foreign remittance department of the Hallmark Bank & Securities, Lagos, Nigeria. In my Department, we discovered an abandoned sum of US$7.5 Million dollars (Seven Million, Five Hundred Thousand United States Dollars) in an account that belonged to one of our foreign customers (MR. Manfred Ewald from Munich, Germany) who died along with his entire family in July 2000 in a plane crash while heading for the USA. Since we got information about his death and that of his entire family, we have been expecting his next of kin to come over and claim his money because we cannot release it unless somebody applies for it as next of kin or relation to the deceased as indicated in our banking guidelines but unfortunately we learnt that all his supposed next of kin or relation died alongside with him at the plane crash leaving nobody behind for the claim.

We also learnt that Mr. Ewald's grandmother hailed from the USA. It is therefore upon this discovery that I now decided to make this proposal to you and release the money to you as the next of kin or relation to the deceased for safety and subsequent disbursement since nobody is coming for it and we don't want this money to go into the bank treasury as unclaimed bill.In this case, politicians here will make nonsense of this fund if it declared unclaimed. One of the banking rules here is that if such money remained unclaimed after six years, the money will be transferred into the bank treasury as unclaimed fund. The request of foreigner as next of kin in this transaction is occasioned by the fact that the customer was a foreigner and a Nigerian cannot stand in as next of kin to a foreigner and be beleived.

We will have to discuss how we shall share this fund once you receive it in your bank acount. I said "We" because, I have a male colic in the bank here who also knows about this (I will give you the name of my male colic later in this transaction.) Thereafter, I will visit your country for disbursement according to the percentages we shall have agreed on.

Therefore, to enable the immediate transfer of this fund to you , you must apply first to the bank as relation or next of kin of the deceased indicating your name, contact address,telephone(mobile)/fax number,an identification in form of your Driver's Licence or Passport. If you cannot come to our office personally to claim the fund, we will have to arrange for a bank approved lawyer here who will stand in for you and endorse the records on your behalf, as well as prepare the Affidavit here. I will not fail to bring to your notice this transaction is hitch-free and that you should not entertain any fears as all required arrangements have been made for the transfer. But you should not let the bank management know that we have any interest in the fund meanwhile, we will give you all info and direct you on the simple things to do to claim this fund easily. You should contact me immediately as soon as you receive this mail. Please, for easy access to your reply, you MUST include your reply in my alternative private email:glph33@yahoo.co.uk One other important factor is that you should treat this matter as very confidential.

Trusting to hear from you immediately.
Yours Faithfully,
Gloria Apianwa (Mrs)
