CHAPTER 21
Batumi, Georgia

Friday late evening

With darkness long settled over the shipping ports in Batumi, Georgia, Henry Carr looked through his night vision binoculars and scanned the deck of the freighter “Sea Sultan”. He saw three men huddled together as they sat on the deck and two sailors just walking around. Henry also looked at the two loading cranes that he had earlier positioned near the two ships that were docked on each side of the freighter. From the top of one of the cranes, one of the agents quietly shot a line over and across the freighter ‘Sea Sultan’ to the crane on the opposite side. Seeing that his men were in position near the cranes, Henry picked up his radio and said, “All clear fox leader, it’s all yours.”

Within a few seconds, agents dressed in black swat suits silently rappel themselves down on cables held by the booms of the loading cranes and swoop down quietly onto the deck of the ‘Sea Sultan’. Within seconds, Mustaf, his two men and the two remaining crewmen had red laser target dots all over them. Soon spotlights from the overhead cranes were used to blind the startled men as a loud voice came over a bullhorn.

“All passengers and sailors onboard the Sea Sultan are to stand by with their hands behind their heads, anyone who moves will be shot immediately.”

As the message is again repeated in Arabic, one of Mustaf’s men panicked and raised his rifle but was immediately felled by a deadly round of silent bullets before he could get a shot off.

The other shocked terrorists and sailors looked around and saw the red target dots on each other and decided not to fight to an inevitable death.

In seconds, the dock was swarming with solders and policemen and the four men were handcuffed and taken away.

Henry had half of his men remove the cesium from the ship and transport it to the Batumi Airport. The remaining agents stayed with the Batumi police to stake out the area and wait for the ship’s captain and sailors to return to the freighter, and bring them in for questioning.
