Tantse Thompson was born in Bermondsey, London to an extremely talented father and an ever supportive and encouraging mother. She inherited her flair for drawing from her father and was fortunate to receive encouragement from her parents to use the gifts she was given and to do her best in whatever path she chose. Encouraged by her parents support, Tantse learned to use her imagination which was nurtured by her love for reading growing up with all things Enid Blyton.
The youngest of nine children, Tantse moved to Huntingdon in Cambridgeshire when she was nine years old. A year later she entered a poetry competition for BBC Radio Schools and won the first prize, which was - having her poem, Arthur and Guinevere, read out on the radio. She married her second husband, Roy, in 1992 and it was through his encouragement that 'Dragonspower' was born. Tantse had finished a number of drawings around the same theme and Roy suggested she weave a story around these drawings.
Tantse now lives in England along with her two adorable dogs. She loves animals and nature and draws inspiration from them. In their company she can forget her worries and let her mind run free. She tries to apply Roy's philosophy to her daily life by embracing each day and finding joy and beauty in it, come fair weather or foul. Tantse has three beautiful daughters and five wonderful grandchildren.

Dragonspower by Tantse Thompson
At the end of the Huri Wars the Dragons were betrayed and locked in crystal orbs by Duman, an elf who had been seduced by the Black Arts. However, one of the Dragons evaded capture and hid his power until centuries later it found its' way to a young orphan girl.
Together with a small band of friends, Alyse must find a way to free the Dragons and unite the Races against Duman. In the age old battle between good and evil will her suffering and sacrifice be enough against the arcane might of the Dark Elf?
