Roy Taylor
Roy Taylor was born in Old Colwyn, North Wales. He spent the early years of his life in Wales. He moved to Bolton when he was in his twenties. He married there and brought up a family with two boys. His early interests were barbershop singing, and joining some choral societies. Not being a great orator, he found that putting his thoughts on to paper gave him some satisfaction. This had progressed to seeing the funny, (or sometimes sad) side of life in form of rhyme. Now retired, and at seventy-one, he still enjoys putting on a pair of boots, and wandering on the moors.
