Pritis Chandra Majumdar was born in 1943 in a remote village called Alampur in Dhaka, Bangladesh. Due to political reasons, he had to leave his home town and move to Independent India and ultimately settle in Calcutta. Pritis studied Industrial Engineering, acquired a post-graduate degree in political science and obtained an MBA specializing in Human Resources Management.
Pritis studies and experimentation on human nature became his passion during his working life as he dealt with a variety of people from all levels of economic and social status. He also traveled from village to village enriching his practical knowledge and implementing his theories in real life to avoid Tensions and achieve Peace. He arrived at one conclusion i.e. peace in life is not fully dependent upon materialistic happiness. Rather it is dependent upon the nature of ones mind or on the environment, family and educational institution under which one has been brought up. Thus, to get peace in life, we have to learn how to control our desires and our mind.
