To eat or not to eat, that is the question. Every dieter knows the pitfalls of impulse buying at the supermarket and the dangers of snacking. We have to blame only ourselves for our own diet and the choices we make. This dieters journal if full of the bloopers a dieting woman makes while on her quest to lose twenty pounds. She tries everything from celebrity diets to eating only blueberries to a minimal amount of exercise, but nothing works. In fact, she gains weight. Her fiancé, Cliff doesnt help either by feeding her portions of his pasta.
In Losing Twenty Pounds, a Dieter's Journal, Jacobsen demonstrates her capabilities as a writer able to take a mundane topic and fashion it into an entertaining story and provide the reader with a great learning opportunity along the way.
