Heidi Jacobsen

Heidi Jacobsen was raised in Toronto, Canada, but left her homeland to attend college in Florida, and New York. She studied at Parsons School of Design in New York, where she obtained an Environmental Design degree. Heidi has been writing for as long as she can remember. She started with short stories and poems, and then added an impressive repertoire of song lyrics to her writing achievements. Seven years ago she branched into screenplays, and has already completed eight works in the genre.
Six of Heidi's novels are available as eBooks, with more to come soon. Her style is entertaining and easy to read. She moves from the descriptive to the simple with a skilful ease. Heidi's work is unpretentious, and engaging. She understands the importance of dialogue, and scripts believable, and effortless, communication for her characters. In, Losing Twenty Pounds, a Dieter's Journal, Jacobsen demonstrates she is a writer who can take a mundane topic, fashion it into an entertaining story, and provide the reader with a great learning opportunity along the way.
