T. A. Chappel was born in 1957 and lives in Waterdown, Ontario, Canada. She began to write in the summer of 2005, her inspiration came from watching The Phantom of the Opera and Timeline. Both the movies set the stage for her first novel Mask in the Corridor. Her interest in history and physics and the experience of having traveled through Europe helped her weave a story, which is an intriguing tale that takes the reader on an adventurous journey below the historic city of Rouen, France where a strange phenomenon joins two different centuries.
Chappel enjoys reading, listening to Elvis Presley and ABBA, skating, skiing, swimming, boating and hiking and is a big fan of history. Although Chappel had never written before she discovered that she had a great imagination and decided to put it to test by writing her very first novel, Mask in the Corridor. T.A. Chappel has two children and two grand children.
