Artie Knapp

American writer Artie Knapp was born in Chillicothe, Ohio, in 1973. A library bearing his name is featured on the internationally acclaimed Kids site Candlelightstories.com. Artie’s Children’s Literature has appeared in such publications as DLTK Kids, The Kidz Page, Humpty Dumpty’s Magazine, Alphabet-Soup.net, The California Kids Newspaper, The Labradorian, Kids Free Souls, The Gloob, Kids Turn Central and The Pakistan Television Corporation to name a few. He is a member of The Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators, and graduated from Ohio University. Knapp previously wrote and directed the science fiction-comedy movie Pluto’s Plight. Artie lives in Cincinnati, Ohio with his wife, Priya.

Pluto’s Plight is a sci-fi comedy movie about a young girl who has visions of life on Pluto. Meanwhile, actual aliens have left their Solar System, because their star is going to Supernova. The aliens want to make Earth their new home, but crash land on Pluto before they can reach their destination. Eventually the aliens make it to Earth and under the guise of offering helpful information about Earth’s Ozone Layer, they try to con their way into taking over the planet. Starring former world boxing champ Buster Douglas as Agent Leis of the FBI!
